Penguins are primarily found in the Southern Hemisphere. While they are most commonly associated with Antarctica, they can also be found along the coasts of South America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
There are around 18 species of penguins, ranging from the small Little Blue Penguin, which is about 16 inches tall, to the Emperor Penguin, which can reach heights of over 4 feet.
